The 15th Nuit du Hack returns at the end of June to Disneyland Paris

For its 15th edition, the Nuit du Hack will bring together on June 24 and 25 on the Disneyland Paris campus, professionals and enthusiasts of hacking around conferences, workshops, and tests relating to computer security.
Every year in Paris, the Nuit du Hack brings together enthusiasts and security professionals with the aim of educating and informing about the importance of hacking. Organized by the HZV association and the audit and security training company Sysdream, the event will allow the general public to discover the latest technical advances in the field of hacking from June 24 in the morning to June 25 at dawn on the Disneyland Paris campus.
On this occasion, conferences, workshops and hackathons will be organized. Among the various interventions, let’s mention “Where Cypherpunk Meets organized crime: The shifting landscape of underground economies and crypto-driven privacy” by Benjamin Brown, who currently works on the dark web, risk assessment, incident management as well as resilience systems at Akamai Technologies.
Wargames and bug hunts
Also on the program in French “Digital combat at the heart of operations”, “The assignment of Android permissions, packages to processes” or even “Hack your car or your helicopter”. For those who wish to measure themselves in hacking against other visitors, the Nuit du Hack will put them to the test via competitions, including a public wargame (jeopardy mode), a social engineering challenge, a private “capture the flag” in attack-defense. Bug hunts will also be organized with bonuses of 5,000 euros allocated to each of the programs in order to remunerate bug hunters.
